I have seen this film before as a child and had some memories of it, but I decided to rewatch it so I would have fresh memories and my own clear opinion. I'm a history buff so I really love this types of films (Even though I know that they are mostly inaccurate). Everything about this film is amazing and completely captivating: the story, the acting, the music! It's definitely a must-watch for everybody. The only thing I definitely didn't vibe with was the incest vibes.....ew that was really NOT IT. Talking about loving the acting I couldn't forget to talk about Crowe and Phoenix, they were simply AMAZING and through their acting I was able to clearly see the motivations of each character. Phoenix's acting on that specific scene where he's telling stories to Lucius is just breathtaking. So yes, I was very entertained.
