me sinking deeper and deeper into my amc signature recliner hiding behind my knees and my popcorn bucket surrounded by a theater of people uncomfortably laughing *(vague spoilers below)* This film angered and disturbed me, and clearly that was the point, so it accomplished that with flying colors and I have to commend. That said, I tend to rate based on rewatch-ability, and I really have no desire to ever watch this again. I really do LOVE Robert and Zendaya and had such high hopes for this. The opening sequence showing how they met and their relationship was delightful, and the editing style and score absolutely kept me engaged throughout. Acting great all around, some of the dark humor was clever, but in the end, the whole premise was just poor taste imo, and that’s what knocks this rating down for me. I can grasp the moral dilemma of the situation, but wish it resolved differently in the very least. I think if they continued to devolve into crazier and crazier confessions instead of doing an entire film trying to justify what she tried to do, it could’ve worked. My issue isn’t that it was uncomfortable, I actually really liked the overall concept and philosophical conflict at the center (woke up with the Freudian blank slate line really resonating). There was just an overall emptiness, it felt unfinished. Excited to watch Project Hail Mary again as a palette cleanser!! (Rob looked sooooo good, extra half star)

Was on during my teeth cleaning at the dentist today. Still holds up, Rami Malek looks so good, KEN TANAKA FROM GLEE IS IN THIS I FORGOT YAY GLEE

was in the mood for a rewatch after watching Ryan in PHM but HOLY SHIT I LOVE BEING A WOMAN
