Mind the Gap
A great film. Despite being comedic in a way, the film's dialogue are deep. You must love yourself. Everybody is unique in their own ways and there is always goodness in it. You would never know that perhaps whatever you thought was "ugly" would be something that brings goodness to you? maybe an avail in certain ways? Anyways, the film is trying to tell us to be grateful for what we have and to love them.
Other thing that I want to bring up is the cinematography. Yes it is quite simple, but extraordinary. Subtle lighting with the combination of extreme close-ups, close-ups, and medium close-ups only. It is exciting to see actors like Willem Dafoe to do such an interesting project.
