If I had a penny for every time Netflix released a documentary in the autumn of 2023 about a middle aged english guy whose career started in Manchester when he was a teenager and who went on to become a superstar in the 90s while dating someone from a British girl group and discusses his struggles with fame and the pressure that came with it, while featuring a colleague and friend of his called Gary (nicknamed Gaz) , I’d have two pennies which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice right? except the one about the footballer was a good and entertaining piece of media while this one’s just 4 hours of a middle aged guy moping around his luxury mansion in his underwear and bathing in self pity.
