Love Exposure I post these reviews within minutes of finishing stuff, so they’re not gonna contain a lot of thoughts that seem like they had time to process, but that’s kinda the beauty of this to me. Banmei Takahashi randomly an all time great filmmaker. An absolutely beautiful film, completely a different one from the first Door. The wedding scene and the score really did it for me. Unbelievable film. It’s weirdly like watching Patlabor or something of that nature.

Dumbest characters ever but a ridiculously fun time. Yeon Sang-ho is really good at directing these but he is a pretty weak writer, like the Shinkai of Korean zombie movies. Super frustrating but in an ultimately hilarious way that doesn’t take away from how much I liked the film in the slightest. Might bring this down but this is how entertained I was. Jun Ji-hyun, probably a All 2000s First Team typa actress has an incredible screen presence here in big 2026.

Quite Kubrickian in it's presentation which was very impressive for Jonathan Glazer, but above all else this film can cause for quite a sickening feeling. The scene at the museum at the end was quite disturbing to me to say the least. The way these people live their lives in the movie certainly reflects the lifestyle of many people in a few countries. They're all happy to be living the lives that the most evil man in the history of the world designed even if they're just fooling themselves. I'm thinking you get the picture by now. The world we live in now doesn't need time to reflect on what it has done wrong, I want the change to happen now.
