That shot near the beginning when Maddie’s going to the animal shelter to have a meet-cute with Percy, when she hets out of the car and it’s filming from behind, looks like a shot from a thriller following the serial killer’s perspective and that really tickled me.

This is another one where I really want to be a contrarian and say that I didn’t like Hamilton, but that would be lying, it is excellent 😔 However, I do have a major complaint. Lin-Manuel Miranda, your voice is so goddamn whiny, I fucking hate it. How am I meant to root for Hamilton when he has the most annoying voice I’ve ever heard? Stick to writing, Lin. Other thoughts that I have include: what happened to Peggy? Did she just disappear? Or did I miss sum? Leslie Odom Jr, Daveed Diggs, and Renée Elise Goldberry were fantastic King George was a scene stealer, obsessed I was highly fistracted by Ariana DeBose being ensemble..  like, that’s an Oscar winner what’s she doing in ensemble I felt like every other verse was a past tiktok trend I think it was important for me to avtually watch this. As a theater kid, I need to know the canon. Can this already be considered to be in the canon? It is popular enough, but is it old enough? Time will tell.
