Satoshi Kon truly is a genius.  This film is political, tragic, confusing and yet still full of hope. It’s truly beautiful.  I definitely see some similarities with this awesome film and Perfect blue, how the audience is left guessing and confused with thinking “what’s truly reality”  I loved how they blended in her chase for this mysterious man with her acting roles.  There’s so much thought put in this screenplay so each puzzle piece fits perfectly in order to serve the story.  Just like in Perfect blue and Paprika, the female protagonist is written so wonderfully. Chiyoko is such a great character I love her.  Oh my god I also loved how this was a documentary with the goated duo, Genya and Kyoji, HAHAHA KYOJI WAS SO FUNNY !!!

I should’ve counted the times nagi said: “what a hassle”  I think Reo might be one of my fav characters after seeing this and oh my god, nagi and reo are THE dream team, they even got a lil breakup arc kinda like Bachira and Isagi. I’m not sure whether I ship Nagi or reo or think they’re platonic soulmates. Nahhhh they def in love, I mean Reo took Nagi leaving his side really personally and was kinda in his villain revenge era after that lol!  I will say I don’t really ship Isagi and Bachira, I think they’re just best friends !  BUTTTTT kunigami and Chigiri would be such a cute couple BUTTTTT UGHHHH KUNIGAMI ISNT EVEN IN BLUE LOCK ANYMORE IM SO MAD HES DA GOAT!! Can’t wait to watch season two !!

I really loved that they made a lil side story with the whole Sasaki and miyano thing.  Hirano is such a cool character and I remember being kinda curious about his roommate that sometimes came up in their conversations.  Also I’m very curious about Kuresawa’s girlfriend who’s in the hospital, cuz he’s frequently talking abt her but we don’t really know the reason why she’s in the hospital. Maybe I’ll get the answers when I see the final piece, the Graduation arc.

My review of blue lock season one !!!  Do I watch football/soccer, hell no, do I LOVE blue lock which is a soccer anime, HELL YEAHHHH!!!  This season was truly amazing. This isn’t just a sports anime, blue lock really dives deep into each character’s backstory, motives and what they’re willing to to to become the world’s best striker. I love how every match is mostly Isagi piecing together the puzzles of how to win the game, it’s truly awesome. Each play they make is so thought out and planned, like how Rin is basically the puppet master on the field. I’m so excited to see the episode Nagi movie and then watch season two!  My fav characters are Nagi, Bachira, Chigiri and ofc Isagi.  BAHAAHHAH in that last ep, Ego was sitting in a chair on his toes, bro is not L from death note!  10000/10 this anime is so fireeeeee !!!
