Her
I saw this film way back in 2019. I understood most of it. But only most of it. I was too young to understand some of it. Now that I'm older, it's more clear to me now.
This movie has been in my mind since then and I figured it was a good time to watch it now. I'm done with my tooth preparations for FPD and practicals yesterday (I PASSED!) and it's a Saturday. But it's also because of yesterday.
I saw a very important and a very special person in my life yesterday. She basically is half of the reason for who I am today. Without her, I would never love art this way. Films, music, mythology, history—she had a great deal with it. We actually used to sing The Moon Song together—I would play the ukulele and she would sing it. She also wanted me to teach her how to play it and she did incredibly. She has a really beautiful voice. It's the most beautiful voice I've ever heard, and I'm sure you would find it beautiful as well. That person left me. Well she says she'll talk again but I doubt that will ever happen, and I think it's for the best that we will never see each other again since we last talked in around September of 2025. 7 years. And it all ended in a Sunday afternoon.
This film is really beautiful, you should watch it.
Edit: our streak became 600 today.
