I absolutely love how the characters Laplante and Bubber were written. It was so interesting how Laplante was a complex and ambiguous character, where even though he is the main protagonist, he is not shown as the usual “goody two-shoes,” but instead he a criminal who still does his best to be a good father figure to his son, if not a good husband. Additionally, he was someone who is incredibly funny, and even pretends he doesn’t care even if he saved 50(?) people in the plane. Meanwhile with Bubber, I was honestly frustrated on why he lied, but to be fair it was Laplante’s loss lol! But throughout the movie, he grew into me and I saw how pure his intentions were towards everyone in need, I also saw how much he carried that one single lie.  Overall, I love how the characters were portrayed, and love the film so much. I also think that the ending was a way to close out the film!!
