Before Sunrise
This is the best romance film I have ever seen in my life, holy shit. It's so unique how it's not a typical love story and actually portrays the most casual but real relationship. It's like a one night stand but instead having a whole day to themselves with actual boundaries. Ethan Hawke is so young, he plays such a charming and nerdy type of character. It contrasts so well with how both character's perception of love and death is vastly different, making them have a very strong connection. The dialogue was fantastic, the conversations they were making was so interesting. I love the contrast of Celine's idea of death, being afraid of it 24/7 and the conscious thought of knowing when you're about to die; comparing to Jesse idea of approaching it with gratitude and thinking beyond death. Damn, this guy is able to pick up a French girl so easy, wish that were me. Loved the culture and the small things that were shown about Vienna, even though it's under appreciated, it was still romantic. Yall, I wish this shit happened to me irl but at the same time, not, I don't want to live a lie knowing I could've been with someone better ("also stated in the film, hehe"). The ending had me tearing up a bit, I'm honestly not ready for the sequel but I'm so invested by this story. I didn't even know it was a trilogy, time to watch the rest. Before Sunrise is a heart-wearming, realistic, romantic masterpiece and yall are not ready for this shit
