Nowhere
Damn, what a way to end off the Teen Apocolypse trilogy, jesus christ. Gregg Araki, who let your child do the screenwriting? Because this shit was fire. One of the things I love about Araki's films is how well he excels in conveying a surreal and unusual experiences towards the audience. When the main character said:" I wish everything doesn't have to be so messy and confusing", bro this whole fucking film was messy and confusing (in a good way). Sorry but what the fuck is Christina Applegate doing here, I never expected her to be in a kind of movie like this. James Duval was incredible, It's funny how he's always a completely different character in the trilogy. This explores teenage 90s culture in the most bizarre yet interesting way. I'm genuinely curious in Araki's ideas because why the hell does that lizard have a raygun. This is peak cinema for me honestly. I love the end when the character starts stating his emotions of heartbreak to a camrecorder and mentions how our generation is doomed, I thought that scene was a good correlation to the opening of Totally F*ed Up (1993) and a reference to The Doom Generation (1995), which were the two prequels. Nowhere is a dreamy, intimate, unpredictable masterpiece that'll make people want to play kick the can
