Tetris

look, I wasn’t even planning on watching a film today. I woke up super early with a lot of work to do, but I decided to browse my apple tv library since I recently got a three-months trial. While scrolling, I came across Tetris and accidentIy pressed play. At first, I thought “Okay I’ll just watch the first 10 minutes and stop. I probably won’t finish it, and I definitely won’t re-watch it later" well guess what? I ended up watching the entire film. No fucking regrets. words can't describe how much the geek in me fucking loved it from the very first minute till the last one. The film is all about tetris and the companies fighting over the its rights which is pure heaven for anyone interested in retro gaming and tech. The nostalgia.. the soundtracks.. the way the rights for tetris bounced between companies.. so fucking interesting ugh. loved every single thing abt this film and honestly, the film doesn’t need much more to sell itself: it's about nintendo and tetris. Enough said. Now, here I am, at the end of 2024. It’s funny to think I spent the last day of the year watching a movie about tetris, a game so old yet forever remarkable. (I need to move on) after this film am 100% sure I was born in the wrong era.. anyways it was the best fucking way to end a year
