Fuck man it’s like denis’s brain moves at a different frequency than ours. Look this is a great morally ambiguous film, I interpreted as how nothing is ever black and white and situations are much more complex and intricate than ever. More so the war on drugs something portrayed as “kill the boss than everyone becomes sober hard working civilians again” in many films. Denis shows that it really isn’t that, through Kate we see a person so desperately trying to solve the war on drugs by the book so staunchly against anything that is out of the ordinary. Through Alejandro and Matt we see their usage of unusual tactics to solve the war. Ultimately none of them are right, as killing the boss resulted in nothing, showing us the true complexity of the situation.  Man it’s like 1 am I’m inebriated I won’t proof read what I written.
