Jojo Rabbit
89/100
Such an intriguing and imaginative perspective of Nazi Germany. Even through the lens of a brainwashed child, grief and love prevail. The fanaticization of childhood wanes in imminent darkness, regardless of status or beliefs.
Even beyond themes of personal evolution, the humor alone is incredible, playing into the notion of innocence. Hitler playing both the the devil on Jojo’s shoulder was a great touch.
