La Chimera

Questo film mi ha cambiato per sempre. Themes such as love, the longing for meaning after having lost that and the human need to spiritually connect to something greater than life in order to cope, are beautifully depicted. Truly is so comforting to see a small village have such love, happiness and joy in it, through the laugh of kids, the chats between neighbours and the chirping of the birds. It is reminiscent of my own village. Each character is portrayed so authentically, bursting with raw emotions. The music, the italian aesthetic, human connection and the lengths you have to go to rebel against the greed of humans, in order to preserve art, are engraved in my heart forever. Il cinema italiano è il mio punto debole. VIVA L'ITALIA!!!
