Close-Up
Close-Up is honestly one of the saddest films I’ve ever seen. It goes beyond normal sadness and it hits even harder when you realize it’s based on a real story and that the people in the film aren’t actors, they’re playing themselves
Hossain's words were incredibly touching The way he expresses his pain and love for cinema through simple conversations makes you feel his suffering so deeply
After the film, I tried to find more about him, but I could only find that one short interview where he speaks so poetically about cinema. That somehow made everything even more heartbreaking
There’s something special about its style blending documentary and film and that makes the story feel even more real
One of the saddest moments for me was when his mother talked about his divorce. That scene really made me cry
And somehow, through all that pain, I found myself loving it
