someone told me MJ was mean in this movie but honestly i really don’t get that 😭 if you actually look at everything from her point of view, she was just hurt. peter kept missing her, not showing up when he said he would, and constantly pushing her away.like obviously WE know he’s Spider-Man, but she doesn’t. she might have had her suspicions, but she genuinely didn’t know what was going on. so from her side it’s literally just this guy she loves who keeps choosing everything else over her. i’d be pissed too ngl🥰 Its not that peter is not going through anything, obviously he had his reasons to keep everything hidden from her which is understandable. > ***“Im spiderman,no more”*** the whole losing his powers thing was actually so interesting to me because it felt like his mind was basically fighting with him and the second he accepts who he is again everything just comes back and doc ock… honestly what a character. i really liked the bond they shared in the beginning, doc wanted to do something good and everything just went opposite. In the end when peter confronts him with his own quotes,”*intelligence is not a privilege”, it’s a gift *and then* *ending made him realise who he has became and saying *“i will not die a monster”* * * BUT THE TRAIN SCENE??? oh my god. easily one of my favourite scenes in the whole movie. peter literally gave everything he had to stop that train and then just fainted and when those people saw his face and still decided to keep his identity a secret?also when they all save him falling from the train🫣 also the ending with MJ finally finding out and still choosing him, after everything? I didn't honestly thought that > *** “I know you think you’re a loser, but you’re not.” ****** > *** after spending the whole movie thinking Peter can’t have both sides of his life, he finally gets a little bit of both.

the first time spider-man swings through new york and the music hit, yeah i get it now
