The Fire Within

the film narrates the last two days of the life of Alain, a man intoxicated by alcohol and tired of his useless existence. the meetings he has with some friends give him the exact feeling of the absolute strangeness existing between him and the next. after escaping exasperated by his friend Doubourg, who advises him to find any accommodation, Alain meets Jeanne: a painful encounter that confirms his impotence to live and from which he has the precise perception of the imminent end. not even the encounter with Solange, a beautiful and generous woman, can calm Alain’s anguish. locked in his room, Alain pulls out a gun and finally maker the decisive gesture. i loved every frame of this movie, this film brought up so much for me. “je me tue parce que vous ne m’avez pas aimé, parce que je ne vous ai pas aimés. je me tue parce que nos rapports furent lâchés, pour resserrer nos rapports. je laisserai sur vous une tache indélébile.”
