The Bronx Is Burning

I feel like some ways this show hasn't aged as well as it should have. You can very much tell it's an early 2000s tv series. That being said I think the casting was on point and the show did have it's moments. I feel at times the show loses focus. I get the idea of trying to show everything that's going on in New York to create the show as a portrait of the city at the time. Sometimes it works out but I found the baseball part of the film to be the most interesting. If you are interested in baseball and the 1977 world series this is definitely an interesting and enjoyable watch. It's a short mini series that doesn take a ton of commitment.
