The airport scene hurt so bad arghhh Wil did make it up tho during the dance, walking up to Vivian while in her peripheral are the "normal" couples at the uh social gathering. The couples leaving out of disgust, ironically, probably have strained marriages. Just bcuz its the norm doesn't mean its right type shi type shi I also like how the Wil talks to her mom in English (most of the time), and then her mom just responds in the mother tongue, (ITS SO RELATABLE 4 PEOPLE W IMMIGRANT PARENTSS), it just kinda represents this disconnect/barrier
