Interstellar
This film was extraordinary, in simple terms. This film, alongside many many others around the time of the making of Interstellar, is proof that the quality of movies has drastically decreased over well more than 11 years, not just acting and writing but primarily CGI. The quality of cgi nowadays is abysmal. It’s sloppy and people just care about pumping out another crappy movie and ruining films with an unnecessary sequel. It’s embarrassing. It’s so hilariously clear throughout the quality of marvel movies in particular, going from scenes from Age of Ultron and the Iron Man films to that excuse of a Dr Strange movie. The quality of interstellar is what we expected 10 years from now, not looking back and seeing how backwards we’ve gone in filmmaking. Directors and Producers need to go back 10 years, ironically, and go back to making films we can feel for and actually enjoy instead of pumping out money hungry slop.
