Frankenstein
how many death will he see when he was shaped from death and will never truly be the dead?
how such creature still managed to show empathy toward the creator who never has? how could victor fear becoming monster when his action already make him the real one? as the creature said, "that terrible will, which gave birth to me, now condemns me?" and "if you don't give me love, then I will obey my rage." those regrets and blame will consumes the heart and that tragedy will keep repeating until we forgave and accept our choices. just like victor who seeking life by creating death, and the creature who seeking death by staying alive.
the film is breathaking yet heartbreaking at the same time. it gaves me the exact feeling i had when i first read Frankenstein several years ago. and jacob...man really played the creature so beautifully, he truly deserved this role.
