i'm a huge drag fan but i'm definitely not as well educated in drag history as i should be. watching this documentary i have a newfound level of respect for queens. jennie livingston did a marvelous job capturing drag culture in the late 1980s and as an aspiring filmmaker this documentary has inspired me in more ways than one.
