Japanuary 2026 Film(?) 11 - #20 Mika Ninagawa Not technically a film but decided to pick this anyway for Ninagawa. Nobody does colours like Ninagawa, nobody does clothes like Ninagawa and nobody does hair like Ninagawa. I really wish the real world looked and felt like this. So many times watching this you get taken aback by how beautiful everything is. The colours just makes me so happy. The clothes that the characters wear in this show is also so so incredible. Just a beautiful drama about social media, fame and womanhood. All the characters are so lovable and it’s so interesting to see a drama so clearly constructed by, about and for women! (I still loved it though).
