Titanic
I'm not being dramatic, but maybe controversial, when I say that this is the best piece of art in the history of humanity—both as a movie and a cultural relic that will live on for millennia after we’re all dead. The memory of the 1,500 people who lost their lives on the real Titanic will be forever remembered, partially thanks to this movie.
A detail that stuck with me was that during the legendary sunset scene with Rose and Jack, you, for the first time, really hear the melodies of "My Heart Will Go On" in the score. This really hit me because, knowing the song, it made the moment that is otherwise triumphant feel bittersweet, and it was the moment it truly hit me: this boat is going down.
Can’t believe it took me so long for me to watch this. But I’m also happy to have experienced it at an age when I can truly appreciate it.
I’m also not being dramatic, but maybe controversial, when I say that Kate winslet is the best actress ever …… that it. I said it. hate me all you want . don’t care. love her.. bye
