Obi-Wan Kenobi
Episode 1:
It went from a recap of a great movie to a bad ep. The chase scene is hilarious. 4/10
Episode 2:
I hate the dialogue so much. A kid Leia storyline is such a bizzare concept to base your Obi-Wan Kenobi show around. It was an extremely anticlimactic Vader reveal at first, but the final shot of Anakin’s freaky yellow sith eyes saved it for me. 3/10
Episode 3:
The ride with the stormtroopers was actually a good scene. Vader was cool but the lighting sucked in that fight, and Obi-Wan’s escape was goofy. What’s up with the lightsabers looking so fake? 4/10
Episode 4:
This show puts me in such a bad mood. It’s sad that Disney gave this the green light. Almost none of the story elements in this show are good. Bro Reeva can’t get a child to give up information lmfao. I feel horrible for Reeva’s actress, she had so many people blaming her for the incompetent writing, when there’s literally nothing that she could have done to save it. 2/10
Episode 5:
Hayden Christiansen as Vader was the one of the only great things to come from this show. the Vader and Reeva fight was pretty good but why would Vader ever leave her alive like that, lol what. 5/10
Episode 6:
All the action scenes in this one are great, and Obi-Wan vs Vader was amazing! I just wish the fight wasn’t intercut with kid Luke’s scene. It’s still genuinely shocking how bad the lighting is.
This was a much better finale than I expected, but it this ep would have been even more impactful if a better season had come before it. 6/10
