what women do NOT want is a movie where a mediocre man uses their most intimate and vulnerable thoughts to finally realise they are, surprise! people with feelings that should be considered and that he is, surprise again! an absolute cunt to every woman ever with no empathy including his own daughter (the best part of the film, love you ashley johnson and that fiona apple cd) until he is literally forced to be in their shoes. despite all this he still manages to show the most ironic presentation of the matilda effect by stealing his own boss' ideas and of course, coming clean about it to her at the end of the movie in very Self Victimising Male fashion, but not before waltzing in to save the day and stop the poor suicidal girl at his work from committing like a knight in shining armour, despite hearing her self-hatred daily and simply raising his eyebrows and moving on. these movies pretending to "understand women" always fall short and are really just mocking and missing the point entirely, and if you mean to say "that's the joke!" then. stfu anyway my hate rant is done that role was fitting like a glove for a wife beater fuck you mel gibson
