This is the happiest movie i’ve ever seen. I don’t even know how much i smiled while watching it. While i personally dislike when movies have little to no plot at the beginning, where it just shows their daily lives, this one is different. I love how happy everyone is, the main story is basically about two girls living their best lives while encountering a friendly guardian spirit that has a cat bus. I feel like this movie was written by Hayao Miyazaki’s inner child and i love it. I love how every aspect of this movie brings happiness, whether it’s the characters, the soundtrack, the setting, this movie always makes you smile. I love how this movie is full of personality, showing that childhood really is the happiest times of our lives. Also it’s crazy how Ghibli can make movies like this and Grave of the Fireflies, Ghibli’s range is insane. This is a movie i’m definitely gonna be watching with my kids
