Before Sunrise

“Loving someone and being loved by someone means so much to me. I always make fun of it and stuff but isn’t everything we do in life in order to be loved” I never would’ve thought that the emotion of bittersweet in all its entirety could be represented in a film — i feel so close with these characters as if i were each of them simultaneously experiencing everything they felt all at once. i took away what the characters felt in such an intimate way. this movie makes me feel like i’m 80 years old reflecting on the best day of my life. AND the quotes ugh just chock full of philosophical junk and i ATE it UP. ethan hawke is so hot i must say and in fact i was named after him so like i share a little bit of his power i guess idk 🤪🙈💕💅🏼. also watching this after watching pauline à la plage had me comparing the two quite extensively and i think before sunrise took what made PALP good and completely extended it to its extremities. also i picked up on call me by your name hints (however this was far better like is that even a competition).
