don’t tell mama i’m speechless. i’m utterly speechless.  sharp objects is a testament to how powerful cinematography and editing is to not only a film/tv shows’s mystery but also to a character’s developmental progression — and in the case of sharp objects regression.  amy adams is the actress. THE actress. her range in this is astounding. from deadbeat to emotional rage. you didn’t just feel her character you completely empathized with her. remarkable.  i could write so much more but i’ll leave it at that for now.
