This was a beautifully told story, one with a lot of heart, good writing, and a bundle of emotion filled moments with iris dealing with her loneliness, to arco’s search to find his way home. The music in this is amazing as well as the animation and this film proves why 2d animation is so clear.

Got to rewatch this after finishing Twin peaks: the return, and was able to pick up a lot more after having a slightly better understanding of the twin peaks universe. But man they set up characters or big themes in the return here in this movie 25 years before the new show, stuff that I couldn't of understood the first time around. But it was nice to watch this film once with after the original twin peaks and after the return because I almost watched with two totally different persepectives. But each time still feels as hantung as the last. Also Sheryl Lee's performance is immaculate

Ryan Gossling is charming, sweet, whimsical, funny, sweet, hilarious, stern, brave, intelligent, sensitive, emotional, strong, curious, determined, silly, humble, witty, empathetic, quirky in this. The movie was pretty good too
