Donkey Skin
The best visual storytelling through costuming I've perhaps ever seen. Masterful and stunning. This movie is an enchanting mix of a few fairytales; Cinderella, Beauty and the beast, The Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs and many more I'm sure. It's so freakish I love it (perhaps considered soft horror if I watched as a kid haha). Inexplicable too, did the fairy godmother just put a literal spell on the king to have him to herself?? I respect her either way (maybe she isekaied into a fairytale from the modern world). I wanted to scream at the helicopter scene; it's so stupidly brilliant.
