The Northman
"Wise in measure should each man be, yet wise enough to be the fool"As Ive come to love about Robert Eggers' movies, Eggers represents his characters' belief systems with complete sincerity. Amleth IS bound by fate to kill his father, he does get holy signs and does go to Vallhol. And it is horrific. But so rivet; after all, Amleth's situation is a mix of Oedipus and Hamlet.I will be thinking about the Valkeryie for very long. Stunning film. I never got bored.
