"How it must have been to grow up with the sky. To feel the sun. The wind. The trees."
If I wanted to make my horror movie scarier I would've made the scary beings sympathetic later than the one hour mark! But maybe that's just me.Seriously though, knowing Jordan Peele's style it might just be the intention to be less scary at the expense of driving a point home. You feel bad for the doubles immediately after hearing their side. They do share a soul with the people living above but they're trapped, they don't have agency, they don't have real lives. Just doomed to live in a basement with items that are always cheap copies.Loved the ending! Loved the soundtrack! The acting was phenomenal! The comedy so so good (I love when it's infused in the horror genre)!
