I’m so sad bc even if he finally know the truth, he will never recover from her death.. Joseph GL is such a great actor, after his performance in Mysterious Skin, i wouldn’t guessed that he would play so well in this movie too. The story is really well done. It slowly reveals the mystery behind Emily’s death, keeping you guessing about who did it and why until the end. that’s like a safe place for me ig (I always love sad movies)

wow man, this cast is on fire ? When did i pray for Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman in one movie ? I saw this movie in my watchlist and decided to finally watch it after few weeks without known what it talking about and I’m not disappoint. It’s about a soldier who was held captive in Afghanistan and was forced to do one thing that he would never wanted. When he returns home, his apparently « perfect family life » begins to fall apart, while the trauma he carries only makes things worse. This movie perfectly shows that the consequences of war do not end when a soldier came home. Paranoia, guilt, and trauma can remain for years, leaving permanently marks on soldiers and everyone closest to them.

Trainspotting is very interesting if you like every movie that involves drugs without romanticize them. Ewan McGregor plays his role perfectly and some scenes are sincerely unforgettable because of originality and his good acting. The cast is majoritary very good because everyone plays really well. not only shows the harmful effects that drugs can bring to your life but also that if you want to move on, you need to be ready to leave everything behind because you can’t stay with people who push you down, even if you called them « friends » before.
