Mission: Impossible - Fallout
Mission Impossible fallout is a perfect follow up to its predecessor.
Typically, when you get further into a franchise like this, stuff seems to fall apart but this isn’t the case with Mission Impossible. Even though I don’t belive Fallout reaches the heights of Rouge Nation, I do believe it gives it a run for its money.
I think the best thing about Fallout is getting closure on Ethan and Julia’s marriage. It’s always felt like a plot point that I didn’t think would never be resolved and ultimately, would be forgotten about but they give the characters perfect course.
Benji and Luther have more to do than in any other of their appearances and the presence is definitely felt throughout the film.
Another thing I really liked was that it felt more connected than any other film by having Lane show up again alongside Cavils character Walker to be the main villains. I loved that the antagonist showed up across different films and the character has most defiantly been a standout for me.
Overall, Fallout is an almost perfect movie, I have no reason to prefer Rouge Nation over this other than the fact I found it more entertaining.
