Bugonia

Though my initial opinion of Bugonia’s trailer wasn’t great(my exact words were “This looks like ass”), I left my theater absolutely stunned at the movie I had just witnessed. It’s safe to say Bugonia is one of the best, if not the best, movie released this year. It was hilarious and dark, and you could tell that was intentional. It was a beautifully made movie. One of the weirdest fucking movies I’ve ever seen, but one of the best. Emma Stone performed phenomenally, once again, and her commitment to the role was admirable. I don’t know what else to say about Bugonia without spoiling it…but if you want a conspiracy theory movie…this one is it. It’s slow on the beginning but the ending makes it all worth it.
