Very pretty and vibrant. Bergman looks gorgeous and is charming as hell. Outside of that this didn’t do a whole lot for me. Some funky costumes near the end tho.

Targaryen Elizabeth Taylor could have been something special.

I am a known Stacy Martin enjoyer, but I thought Sam Riley was really great too. Beautiful location, slow burn thriller, little bit of tennis, this was never not in my bag.

Starts really strong and a ton of the dialogue is pretty much verbatim from the book but I don’t think this is really a novel that’s able to be adapted for mass audiences. Needs to be in the hands of a director who takes more liberties.  Did not like the Rawlins casting, loved Damon as John Grady.
