Star Wars

I haven’t watched A New Hope in ten years and I’m very happy to say that it still holds up!  Luke Skywalker will forever be the greatest adaptation of the hero’s journey. Leia is still one of the most badass female characters written. Harrison Ford’s performance of Han Solo is still so iconic. I love everything about this film.  Binary Sunset has always been my favourite scene in all of Star Wars history and Star Wars media and watching it again made me feel so emotional and nostalgic. The score is so beautiful (thank you John Williams) and it encapsulates everything I love about these characters.  I’m very excited to revisit Empire Strikes Back. Not only is it my favourite Star Wars film but also one of my favourite films of all time.
