Waves
while watching the first half, i did not think i was going to like this. like it was cool and stuff but i was like ughh male rage im kind of tired of this (also i hated the man soundtrack). very tired.
then the second half. lord i am heartbroken. the scene with the water sprinkler that turned into sparkles! the conversation while fishing.. the scene of her brother alone in prison. like oh wow. i was convinced i fear. also i found the soundtrack started to work and i dont know if because we were in a womens perspective i was like feeling it or what but that shit was effective i think i cried at three different times.
forgiveness, acceptance. raise your kids with compassion?
i understand the hesitation from a lot of other viewers because its like the very MALE vantage point. i felt so much sympathy and connection to the women characters in this but a part of me doesnt believe a man has the capacity to view it that way so theyre going to misunderstand the message…
idk im done talking im saying nothing thats all i liked it i really did
