Bugonia
I went in hearing that it was like all the other films by lanthimos but it felt so fresh and new, I didn’t know what was going to happen throughout.
I loved this film, loved how you didn’t know who to root for and against, one of the only films where you feel bad for the billionaire.
Jesse Plemons and Emma Stone were so good, so was Aidan Delbis, it’s surprising it’s his first film.
Everything was so interesting and it was one of the few films I left partially out of breath because I forgot to breathe for most of the film.
It was also just consistent fun and tension, I.E the green day scene.
the one issue is the lack of subtlety but I don’t really think that’s too big an issue, it’s message is clear.
At points it Looked phenomenal, you got to love a film in a non conventional aspect ration.
Go see it, stay blind.
