Lady Bird
I cried from the airport scene all the way until the end, so, obviously very good. Lady Bird and her mom feel like such real, breathing characters that have intention behind every piece of dialogue. In general, the dialogue in this was astounding.
I do wish a couple of supporting characters were either developed further or would’ve been included less, as they’re in a weird state of being featured more than enough to be a blip but not enough to hold a ton of significance. That’s my only complaint though, and it’s minor. God, Gerwig really knocked it out of the park
