I expected more from this movie, it was more about aesthetics rather than a story. Beautiful aesthetics though, not much to say but i did like the idea that its about the connections that are never meant to last as Sofia said "Lost in Translation is about those moments in life that are fleeting but the impression stays with you". And i think its captured beautifully here, was good though i do think i would need a second watch to understand it fully.

Friskity triskity briskity boo Knickerty knockerty tockerty too I will be saying thanky-do now This is movie is so visually pleasing

the shot of him crying and walking, through the empty messy street as his family had just gotten on their death train was gold he was just trying to survive the whole time good movie but my thoughts about jews remain the same

i found this movie to be quite confusing at the start since to me it didn't really have a very clear plot i do think though that the movie gave us a beautifully captured presentation of loneliness and insomnia added with his subtle mental decline. I also thought it was interesting having his obsession with cleaning up the world yet he himself in a way becomes a part of the corruption he hates. also who in their right mind takes a girl on a FIRST date to watch an explicit film you apparently 'didn't know' was explicit.
