Burning Body

Burning Body is in my opinion a very underwhelming limited show. I kind of had expectations but i have to admit i ended up disappointed. I'll start with the positives, i really enjoyed the soundtrack for this show and it definitely fit the atmosphere of the story as a whole. The cinematography is pretty too. One of my biggest criticism is probably the handling of the pacing between the different episodes. Some of them doesn't say much and are kind of useless, others are very gripping. Though the only episodes where there was something interesting happening are the last two episodes. The rest are okay at best. I have to be honest for the most part it felt like the story focused on certain things for too long instead of focusing on things more important. I have nothing against main characters who are morally ambiguous, unlikeable but at least makes them interesting. In my opinion that's what Burning Body is lacking : compelling unlikeable main characters. Because in this show they are just unlikeable and nothing else. At the end of day i just ended up not caring about these characters. I've never got the impression that their psychology was developped well, they, in my opinion, lacked of depth. Honestly i don't really know how to feel about the overall acting.
