The Devil Wears Prada

I'm probably overrating this this film but i don't know, The devil wears Prada is, i think, a comfort film for me. There's a lot of memorable moments especially with Miranda Priestly played fantastically by Meryl Streep by the way. I could rewatch The devil wears Prada simply because of that. So i can understand why this film is considered as iconic or a classic. Though there's some moments that didn't make sense like the whole Harry Potter books storyline, that was not very believable. While i do find the Andy's friends and boyfriend very annoying at times, i don't think that there were the real villains in the story. To be honest i don't think that there was really a villain in Andy's life. I feel like The devil wears Prada is about her own self journey and making her own experiences and choices. However i don't think Miranda Priestly should be romanticized since The devil wears Prada is also a critique of the fashion industry.
