Interstellar
Bitch, the things id to see this movie for the first time again.
Okay story time. I didn't count my first time watching this film as my first time. Cuz I was 6 and none of the story made sense to me, all I understood was just space is beautiful. But i rewatched this when I was 12 during quarantine and that's when I truly felt like I watched it for the first time.
I've seen The Martian, Gravity, Alien, Apollo 13. Never have I ever thought I would cry to a space movie.
When I watched this film, so many things made me cry.
Like how I usually never cared a bit about the Earth's well being but then this film sorta woke me up and showed me a possibility of what the Earth could be like within 10 or 20 years.
Then during that one scene, where the theme is playing and the Endurance ship is like flying around in space, tears dropped out of my eyes unexpectedly for no reason. Highest chance is that I cried cause I was in awe of what space looked like in the film.
Then Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain's father daughter scenes. I was ugly crying with Matthew McConaughey. 😭😭
Also I cried cause I felt stupid and dumb compared to them who were discussing all those science shit that I need to rewind 3x to understand what they mean.
Then. The Miller's planet scene, I was in awe, I was mad at time. I cried cause I couldn't bear the thought of time passing by just like that.
Finally. The ending. The part where Murphy says no parent should watch their child die or smth. Bye I was sobbing.
Oh my gosh this film. I cant even. Its so perfect it should be at everyone's top 4. This movie is popular for a reason.
