Heretic

Cool concept and pretty philosophical ideologies. Hugh grant should definitely play more characters like this The 30 minute scene in his library was crazy and actually had me thinking myself. I’m actually surprised I clocked the pastor coming by to check on the girls and when he came back I was like “he saw the bikes that’s why he came back” but nah… anyways sister barnes death was so sudden but In like a good way, also the scene where mr reed slits open her bicep and takes out her implant was actually a bit to much for me because I don’t like stuff like that. the soundtrack as well oh my god i actually bought it on vinyl it’s so good, the music was actually insane. My main take away was that mr reed had a religious superiority complex or a some sort of prophet complex and took it out by literally forcing his beliefs onto two young impressionable Mormon girls the and trying to keep up this good guy facade. Sound familiar? This is probably my favourite A24 movie, really good watch
