Pan's Labyrinth

I thought this would be like a darker version of Alice in Wonderland. Boy, was I wrong. I am obsessed with this film. The faun, the fairies, and the mythical labyrinth are all delicously creepy and unsettling. Pair this incredibly otherworldly labyrinth to the gore and the fear of the real world and you have made a great film. I love the darkness of Pan's Labyrinth, I love the uncertainty of the ending, I love the acting of Ofelia, who reminded me of Liesl Meminger from The Book Thief. I love it all.
