I am completely blown away by this film! It is hard to believe that I almost bought something else rather than this. Sam Rami goes all out with his over the top directing style. All of the lead actors give 10/10 performances. Sharon Stone’s character is so likable, and is easily the best. She comes into the movie roasting everybody, and it shows her awesome demeanor. Her arc is excellently crafted. DiCaprio was great also, and his death really hit. The plan that Cort, the blind kid, and Lady crafted was amazing, and I loved her revenge scene. Herod was a great villain, and I couldn’t stand him. The action is awesome, and non-stop throughout the film. I love the unique style that *The Quick and the Dead *brings to the western genre. I think a scene or two to slow the movie down would make it perfect. Go watch this outstanding, yet underrated film!

If this had a bigger budget, it has the potential to be a masterpiece. I’ll review this from a cinephile perspective rather than a Kanye fan. The story is beautiful, and the music like *Runaway *and *Lost In The World *elevates it so much. I did like how this was shorter overall, and the music is so beautiful, and great throughout. The film does have a deeper meaning behind it too, about how our society rejects different people. But, that’s where the positives end. The acting is flat out terrible, especially Kanye himself. You can also tell how cheaply this film was made. It doesn’t really bring anything to the table besides a way to listen to a ton of Kanye. If you’re watching through a Kanye fan perspective you’ll love it, besides that not really.

The more I think about *Django: Unchained *the more I love it. Immediately it was my #5 movie of all time. Now I don’t know if it’s #1, #4 or in between, but definitely not #5. This is Tarantino’s masterpiece. Calvin Candie, Dr. Shultz, and Django are his best characters. I love this film so much!

Almost a perfect film, just has a couple things that I would tweak about it. I’ve been really interested in the Wild West days recently, so I hopped into this movie, after hearing some good things. Mattie was a really awesome character, and I loved seeing her outsmart all of the cast. She is also really cool in a western for someone at her age. La Boeuf was by far my favorite character. I loved seeing him and the marshal arguing throughout. The marshal had some great moments, but also some not so great moments which I’ll get into. The story of Mattie wanting revenge is classic, and pretty good. I liked the action throughout the movie also. The dialogue was also a positive. And I really dug the ending. But, I didn’t like how they tried to drag in some comedic elements into the story. Also, the pace is pretty slow, and could be done better. Overall, a really good movie, that I’d recommend.
