Mermaids

I felt it. I felt it all. Seeing Charlotte crashing out at her mother is making me feel like I’m watching a movie about myself,and her internal struggles,loud annoying thoughts. I love how her thoughts differ from her external outlook. God both main characters are so complex in the best way. This movie made me uncomfortable by how accurately it portrayed the struggles, how absolutely devastating it is to be so misunderstood by someone who’s supposed to understand you the best. “I desperately wanted to ask what colour her bra was and if she had pure thoughts every second of the day”  “I will not start the day with an argument. I will tally up my week’s evil thoughts and ignore her” “Sometimes i feel like you’re the child and im the grown up” “A normal family, It’s like a television” “-I wish I could swim forever   -I wish I’d known Anne Frank”
